Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose to attend Macalester for a variety of reasons, but what ultimately led to my decision to attend was how welcomed I felt by the swim team when I participated in an overnight. They made me feel excited about how easy it is to be in multiple extracurriculars while easily exploring their academic interests in and out of the classroom.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
My time at Macalester has immensely shaped the person I am today. The people I have met -- professors, coaches, teammates, and friends -- have helped me grow both in and out of the classroom.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
I have been able to figure out how to better balance my life by learning how to balance being a collegiate athlete, being a student, and other responsibilities and roles I have in my life.
