Made nine starts in goal for the Scots before getting injured… Tallied 58 saves and one tie as the Macalester goalkeeper… Registered an assist while in goal against St. Olaf Sept. 21… Recorded a team and career high 14 saves against Wartberg Aug. 30… Totaled 693 minutes in goal... Received MIAC Academic All-Conference honors.

2018
Made nine appearances in net for the Scots, including eight starts… recorded over 800 minutes in goal and made 37 saves on the year… went 3-3-2 during the season with a .804 save percentage, which ranked seventh best in the MIAC… tallied four shutouts including her first collegiate win against St. Scholastica on Oct. 4 … made a career-best 10 saves against Augsburg on Oct. 9.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Similarly to many other athletes, I am much more well-rounded and also have accumulated a much better sense of time management. It is a challenge to balance school and athletics, especially as a two-sport athlete, but I have become more resilient and tenacious with putting my best effort forward in all areas of my life. I have also learned about how important building strong relationships with people is and have come to value and embody that more as I have grown up.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Being a student athlete has allowed me to understand the importance of a community and support system integrated into what I am passionate about. I will take this with me into my career in medicine, and hope to surround myself with positive influences, those who are also willing to work hard to achieve goals. I also greatly value what I have learned about balancing different commitments both for school and outside commitments in research, jobs, sports, and classes. Macalester has taught me that I am capable of doing many things that I am passionate about as I have progressively learned more about my interests and what I want to pursue after graduation.
