Saw action in the first three games before suffering a season-ending injury.

2017
Saw action in seven games… Recorded a touchdown pass vs. Ripon Oct. 21… Rushed for 45 yards on four attempts against Beloit Oct. 7.

2016
Played in three games at quarterback… Threw a 33-yard touchdown pass in a win over Grinnell Sept. 24.

Before Mac
Earned second team All-District honors… Academic All-State for football… A member of the National Honor Society.

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose Mac because it seemed like the perfect fit. The football players all welcomed me on my campus visit. I wanted to attend college in a large city. It is also relatively close to home.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
Mac has gifted me with so many new opportunities to grow as a teammate, student and person. The culture around Mac and the Twin Cities is one I am proud to be a part of.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
I have become more understanding of the perception that athletes have on collegiate campuses, and this perception allows us as student-athletes to try to shift our image to a more positive light here at Mac. The football team embodies the characteristics I want to possess as an individual: caring, involved and respected.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Macalester has allowed me to meet and become great friends with people from across the globe. I have been immersed in cultures and beliefs that have challenged me, helped me grow, and provided me with new ways of thinking that I will take with me in my next chapter in life.
