As a Scot
Member of Men’s Club Water Polo team… Named to Collegiate Water Polo Association Club Men’s Scholar-Athlete Team.
2016-17
Competed in the 2017 MIAC Championships with a personal best in the 500 freestyle.
2015-16
Competed in the 2016 MIAC Championships with personal best's in the 50 freestyle and the 200 freestyle.
Before Mac
Recipient of the Iron Man Award for participating in three sports for all four years at the Haverford School… Earned a total of six varsity letters in water polo, swimming and crew.
Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose to attend Macalester because it was the only place where I could have both high level academics and the opportunity to swim. Also, everybody I met was very welcoming.
What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
I've really enjoyed having the chance to balance rigorous academics with varsity athletics. The friendships I've formed on this team mean as much to me as anything at Mac.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Being a student athlete at Mac has made me take accountability for myself as a student, as a friend, and as a person. Balancing two sports, four classes, and a social life has forced me to evaluate my priorities and ensure that I am making the best use of my time.
