As a Scot
Education Intern and Servant Leader for Minnesota STEM Freedom School… Also competes for Macalester’s track & field team, earning All-MIAC honors in the high jump.

2017
Tied for the team lead with three interceptions… Started six of his seven games played… Made 20 tackles… Picked off two passes against Monmouth Sept. 23… Also had an interception vs. Hamline Sept. 9.

2016
Switched positions from quarterback to defensive back… Saw action in nine of the Scots’ 10 games… Ranked second on the team with seven pass breakups… Also added 18 tackles… Recorded nine tackles in a win over Lawrence Oct. 8… Had four pass breakups vs. Grinnell Sept. 24.

2015
Played in six games at quarterback… Completed a 51-yard pass against Carroll Oct. 31… Also had a 24-yard completion against St. Norbert Nov. 7.

Before Mac
Earned all-county honors at both quarterback and safety at Racine St. Catherine’s High School… Named St. Catherine’s Scholar Athlete… Received the Golden Lamp of Learning Award.

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
This football program embodies what I believe football and being a team is really about. The coaches are great people who give their players the best opportunities to succeed. On top of the great football environment, Macalester is an elite academic institution.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
I finally found a place to call home.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Being a Macalester football player has given me the tools to be confident in myself no matter what others may think.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Being a student-athlete at Macalester has definitely made me more mentally tough.
