As a Scot
Founded Athletes Against Sexual Violence, a non-profit organization that speaks to high school athletes about sexual violence prevention… Writes for the Mac Weekly… A member of the orchestra and MJO at Macalester.

Saw action in nine games with one start on the defensive line… Had a tackle for loss in the win at Hamline Sept. 8… Named to the Allstate Good Works Team for his work with Athletes Against Sexual Violence… Honored at halftime of the Sugar Bowl… Earned a spot on the Midwest Conference Academic All-Conference team.

2017
Made position change from offensive line to defensive line… Played in eight games… Recorded 1.5 tackles-for-loss… Received Midwest Conference Academic All-Conference honors.

2016
Played in one game.

Before Mac
Received All-Conference, All-District and Academic All-State honors at St. Paul Central High School… Two-year captain for the Minutemen… Named the conference Lineman of the Year… A National Honor Society member and an AP Scholar with honors.

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose to attend Macalester because it offered the rare, perfect blend of athletics, academics, location, and social life that is hard to find in a liberal arts setting.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
Macalester was a fantastic immersive college experience in my first year. I can't wait to come back and enjoy it for my second year.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
More so than anything, my remarkable peers have shaped my growth as an individual. They consistently push me to better myself and think critically about my role as a student-athlete.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
The life skills I have learned as a Macalester football player will serve me well after my college career. I learned the meaning of hard work, dedication, and selflessness on a value-driven football team which will help me lead a moral life.
