Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose to attend Macalester because it had almost everything I was looking for in a school. It is top ranked academically and has a great location in the Twin Cities. I wasn't sure I wanted to go too far away for college, but when I stepped foot on campus during my visit I felt very comfortable and welcomed. Being able to fulfill my dream of playing college football was also a factor.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
I have grown a lot during my first year at Macalester. I was originally worried about going so far away, however my worries were quickly relieved when I was greeted by a family atmosphere on the team and the very welcoming college community. The professors and the coaches invest so much into every player/student and it is easy to build lasting relationships with both.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
My time at Macalester has helped shaped me into a better, more open-minded person. The high expectations of both our football program and the college have made me more disciplined and responsible.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
My experience as a student-athlete at Macalester has shaped me into a better man and helped me learn many important values such as hard work, leadership, and teamwork. This experience has also brought me together with many amazing people on and off the field that have helped make me a more open-minded and well-rounded person.
