Biography

As a Scot
Studied abroad in Shanghai, China in the spring of 2019… Also interned at Austen Morris Associates in Shanghai.

2018
Played in all 10 games with two starts… Caught 23 passes for 193 yards and three touchdowns… Also rushed nine times for 31 yards… Had at least three receptions in six games… Caught three passes for 42 yards and a touchdown in a win over Lawrence Oct. 13… Made the Midwest Conference Academic All-Conference team.

2017
Played in nine games… Had three receptions for 40 yards against Beloit Oct. 7… Scored on a 16-yard touchdown catch in the win over Ripon Oct. 21.

2016
Saw action in three games… Caught a 33-yard touchdown pass against Grinnell Sept. 24 for his first collegiate touchdown.

Before Mac
Named his team’s Offensive MVP at Crystal River High School… Received the Coaches’ Award… Posted his team’s highest grade-point average twice.

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose Macalester for the location and the many opportunities that Mac offers.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
Macalester is an amazing place with great people, people who encourage you and push you to achieve your best. I am happy to be surrounded by such great and hard-working people.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
My experience as a student-athlete at Macalester has helped me to learn to manage my time well, understand how to work well in a group setting, and teach me that you must work hard in order to achieve your goals.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
It has taught me the importance of managing your time as well as the importance of appreciating to the fullest the current point in your life and the opportunities you have been given.
