Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose to come to Mac because of the top level academics and the many internship possibilities due to the location in the Twin Cities. Also, Mac felt just like home when I went for a visit and I could see myself really growing as a person on campus. Lastly, the ability to continue my soccer career on a team like Mac’s is something I could only dream of.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
My first year at Mac was absolutely incredible and better than I ever could've imagined. Mac helped me grow as a person, continue my education and create friendships that will last forever. I can't wait for my next three years here.

How has your experience as a student-athlete helped shape you as an individual?
During my time at Mac it has helped me to become more of a team player, outgoing and time efficient.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Being a student-athlete has allowed me to grow not only as an individual, but as part of a team. The past three years have given me the power to find myself and see who I really am in various situations.
