Macalester College will give me a unique global perspective to real world situations and problems that will prepare me well for whatever my next step will be. All students I have met on campus are excited to be a part of an academically rigorous group and still have a great variety of interests in and out of the classroom. I chose Macalester because I will be challenged and assisted to achieve my goals.

Macalester has been a community where courses are challenging and have a focus on real life experiences and questions. Macalester is also a center for varying perspectives that helps shape the student body and surrounding area. I am a part of an exceptional network of friends, professors, and faculty that have been influential in my time at Macalester and will be into the future. The environment on campus kept my first year unpredictable yet busy and I expect more of the same this upcoming season.
