Caleb Chou-Green (San Francisco, Calif./Peddie School) tossed five strong innings and the Macalester College baseball team erupted for 21 runs on 15 hits in an 21-1 run-rule victory over Elmhurst University on Friday at Lake Myrtle Sports Complex. The Scots improve to 9-6 on the season.
Chou-Green earned the win to move to 2-0 on the year, allowing just one run on six hits, striking out six over five innings. First year
Winston Wisely (Mahtomedi, Minn./Mahtomedi) did not allow a hit in two innings of relief, striking out two.
Macalester wasted no time, plating six runs before the Blue Jays ever saw a pitch. Senior
Tristan Jones (Fairfield, Conn./Greens Farms Academy) capped the frame with a two-run double that cleared the bases and put the Scots ahead 6-0. The offense kept rolling with a nine-run fourth inning, putting them up 16-1 and securing the run rule margin. Senior
Raymond McCaskey (Colorado Springs, Colo./Manitou Springs) tripled to left field to drive in three runs, and senior
Nathan Gumagay (Potomac, Md./Winston Churchill) added a two-RBI single. McCaskey scored on a wild pitch to cap the outburst.

John McMurray (Washington, D.C./Sidwell Friends) had a team-leading three hits, going 3-for-4. First year
