ST. PAUL, Minn. – Two goals just 100 seconds apart gave the Macalester College men's soccer team a 2-0 victory over Concordia College in a MIAC match Saturday afternoon at John Leaney Field at Macalester Stadium. The Scots improve to 8-2 overall and 2-1 in the MIAC, while the Cobbers drop to 1-8, 0-3 MIAC.
In the 17th minute, sophomore midfielder
Kasdan Blattman (San Jose, Calif./Bellermine) dribbled down the left side and centered the ball to sophomore forward
Chris Frantz (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove), who one-timed the ball into the goal from 15 yards out. Then in the 19th minute, it was Frantz's turn to set up his teammate, as his pass found senior forward

The Scots dominated possession from start to finish and enjoyed a 24-3 advantage in shots. Fifteen Macalester shots were on frame, with Concordia goalkeeper Jensen Waltz recording some acrobatic saves among his 13 saves to keep it a two-goal game. Senior goalkeeper
