ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester College football team dropped a MIAC Skyline Division contest to visiting Concordia College, 44-7 Saturday afternoon at John Leaney Field at Macalester Stadium. The Scots are now 0-7 overall and 0-2 in the division, while the Cobbers improve to 5-2 overall and 2-0 in the Skyline.

A pair of touchdown passes from Mattern to Owen Miller over the final six minutes of the second quarter made the halftime score 37-0 Concordia.

On fourth down and goal from the 5-yard line, Wallin hit senior receiver Gabe Kasper (Shoreview, Minn./Irondale) at the goal line for a touchdown, capping an 18-play, 77-yard drive.
