ST. PAUL, Minn. – Senior forward
Jackson Henningfield (Lake Mary, Fla./Lyman) tallied 19 points and nine rebounds, as the Macalester College men's basketball team fell to St. Olaf College, 54-47 Sunday afternoon in the Leonard Center. The defeat is the second to the Oles in a four-game series between the two teams.

St. Olaf pushed its lead to eight before the Scots used a 13-4 run to take their first lead of the game, 16-15 with 2:03 left in the half. First year guard
Tom Andreae (Newton, Mass./Newton North) made a pair of threes in the run. The lead changed hands four times over the final two minutes of the half, as two free throws by senior guard

The score remained close early in the second half, with three lead changes and neither team leading by more than four points. With the score 32-31 St. Olaf at the 11:34 mark, the Oles took control of the game with a 13-4 run to lead 45-35 with 3:27 remaining. Four points from Henningfield and three from junior guard
Eric Sathy (Cupertino, Calif./Homestead) cut the deficit to four, 46-42 with 43 seconds left. But that's as close as the Scots would get, as St. Olaf closed out the game with an 8-5 run to wrap up the win.

Lucas Leiter (Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Eagan) each scored eight points, while Andreae finished with six points, three assists and two steals. Michael Meriggioli led the Oles with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
