WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn- The Macalester women's tennis beat Concordia- Moorhead today 9-0 in their first MIAC win this season.

No.1 sophomore Laurel Hickey (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) beat her opponent 6-3,6-2. No. 2 singles senior Della Brown (Chicago, Ill./Univ. Of Chicago Laboratory School) also won 6-3, 6-2. The rest of the Scots won in straight sets including sophomore Natali Sorajja (Rochester, Minn./Mayo), sophomore Emma Baker ( Bentonville, Ark./Bentonville), junior Camilla Bendetti (Baltimore, Md./Bryn Mawr School) and senior Rainah Ward (Northfield, Minn./Northfield).

Macalester also swept the Cobbers in doubles.

Macalester returns to play Friday, Mar. 8, against Saint Mary's University in White Bear Lake, Minn.
