On TapMacalester women's basketball will remain at home this week as the Scots tipoff the week of action tonight with a 7 p.m. game vs. St. Ben's followed by another home game, Saturday, when they host Carleton College in the front end of a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m.

When Last We MetThe last meeting between the Scots and Blazers took place in St. Joseph, Minn. on Feb. 12, 2014. In that game, the hosts- St. Benedict closed out the first half on a 9-4 run to go up 37-25 at the break, and went on to defeat Macalester 74-49.
Erin Murray added nine points for the Scots.

Macalester and Carleton met earlier this season, Dec. 6, in Northfield, with the Knights coming away with a 59-45 victory. In a competitive first-half battle, the Scots trailed by just five (27-32) after junior
Erin Murray drained a jumper with time expiring in the half. With a 26% second-half field goal average, the Scots were unable to overcome the deficit. Macalester was led in scoring by freshman guard,
Vivi Gregorich who finished with 11 points after hitting seven of nine shots from the line.
Last Time OutMacalester College women's basketball team hosted St. Mary's University in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play Saturday afternoon in the Leonard Center. In a first half battle, the Scots held a lead for nearly six minutes of action as the game proceeded to boast eight lead changes and 10 tied scores. The Scots came up short in the second 20 minutes of play, falling 76-54 in final scoring. Freshman center
Regan Fruh led the Scots with 15 points on seven of 11 shooting from the field. Fruh grabbed seven rebounds.
