There is no slowing down for Macalester women's basketball as the Scots will compete in three games this week beginning with a non-conference match-up against North Central University on Monday, Jan. 12 at 7 p.m. in Alumni Gymnasium. The Scots will face MIAC competition as they travel to Bethel on Wednesday and host St. Mary's University on Saturday to round out this week of play.

Last Time Out
The Macalester women's hoops team put together a strong first half in a Saturday afternoon conference match-up at the campus of St. Catherine University on Jan. 10. The Scots led the Wildcats 38-37 after the first 20 minutes of action as Macalester shot 50% from the field. The Wildcats forced Macalester into 12 second-half turnovers and knocked down six shots from beyond the arc to regain the lead and defeat the Scots 74-59 in final action.

Four Macalester players scored in double figures on Saturday as freshman center Regan Fruh and sophomore guards Lauren Clamage and Grace Dickman each posted 11 points for the Scots. Junior guard Erin Murray added 10 points and dished out a team-high three assists.
