Kareem Ismail (Fy., Pasadena, Calif. / Flintridge Prep) supplied his team with 22 points, but it wasn't enough as host-Gustavus Adolphus turned a halftime tie into a 64-54 MIAC victory over the Scots in St. Peter.

Gustavus improves to 13-8 overall and 10-6 in the MIAC after getting 15 points from Brian Jacobs, 13 from Jordan Dick and 12 from Chad Poppen.  The Gusties led 16-7 in second chance points.

Ismail went 9-for-14 from the field for the Scots and reaches the 20-point plateau for the third time this winter.  He also grabbed seven rebounds.

Bert Yaffe (Jr., Bethesda, Md. / Walter Johnson) chipped in with nine points to help the Mac cause, and Sager Moritzky (Fy., San Juan Capistrano, Calif. / St. Margaret's Episcopal) distributed eight assists and Dylan Kilgour (So., La Crescenta, Calif. / Crescenta Valley) finished with seven points.

The Scots are back in action Saturday (Feb. 8) when they host Augsburg at 3 p.m.
