Macalester closes out the 2013-14 on a two-game win streak by beating Carleton 74-71 in overtime in Northfield.  The Scots wind down with a 5-20 overall record and 4-18 MIAC mark.  Carleton shuts down at 5-20 overall, 3-10 in MIAC play.  Macalester completes its seasonal sweep over the Knights.

Veronika Jakubovie (Sr., Maple Grove, Minn.) netted a season-high 18 points and also grabbed 19 rebounds to post her sixth double-double of the season and lead the charge for Macalester.  She was 8-for-16 from the floor and also blocked four shots.  Seven of her season-high 19 boards came off the offensive glass.

Three teammates joined Jakubovie in double digits in scoring: Taylor Pike (Sr., Ashland, Neb. / Ashland-Greenwood) scored 15 to go along with five assists, Carmen Whitehead (Sr., Greeley, Colo. / West) scored 13 and Emma Leyden (Sr., Berkeley, Calif. / Head-Royce) added 12.  Erin Murray (So., Sparta, Wis.) distributed seven assists.

Carleton was led by Jenny Ramey with 29 points.
