Box Score
Quarterback Clark Bledsoe (Sr., Jacksonville, Fla. / Episcopal) went 20-for-24 for 218 yards, tossing four scoring strikes to become Macalester's all-time touchdown career passing leader with 37.  Seven different Scots scored touchdowns on the night.

C.J. Smith (Jr., Ashland, Wis.) caught six passes for 90 yards and Sam Marshall (Sr., Sun Prairie, Wis.) pulled in seven receptions for 54.  Smith and Marshall caught touchdown passes, as did Riley Koval (Sr., Mount Horeb, Wis.) and Victor Bordo (Fy., Evanston, Ill. / Evanston Township).

The rushing attack was led by Zandy Stowell (Fy., Chippewa Falls, Wis.) with 68 yards on 10 carries and Mike Adams (Sr., Chippewa Falls, Wis.) with 50 yards on eight attempts.

Mac's defense held Maranatha to a 2-for-14 third down conversions.  The Scots, who have surrendered only 25 points in three games, were led by Jole Miller (So., Missouri Valley, Ia.) with six tackles (five solo stops) and a 58-yard interception return.  Spencer Robinson (Jr., Chattaroy, Wash. / Riverside) also made six tackles, while collecting five apiece were Nolan Kriegel (Jr., Danburg, Wis. / Webster) and Reid Callahan (Jr., Atlanta, Ga. / St. Pius X).

Auburn Jimenez (Jr., East Los Angeles, Calif. / St. John Bosco) kicked seven extra points to tie a school record and barely missed a 50-yard field goal which would be been a school mark.

The Scots led 14-0 after one quarter of play and 35-0 at halftime.  Macalester punted just twice all night.  The Scots out-gained the Crusaders 434-216 in total offensive yardage, 23-12 in first downs and averaged 6.3 yards per snap.

Jordan DeLay ran for 80 yards and a touchdown for the Crusaders (0-3).

Macalester is 3-0 for the first time since 1984.  The Scots will go for Mac's first 4-0 start since 1898 when it travels to Portland, Ore., next Saturday (Sept. 22) to take on Lewis & Clark..
