Bethel went on a 17-5 run midway through the second half to turn a closely-played game into a 66-56 triumph over Macalester in Arden Hills, denying the Scots a chance to even their record at .500.
The Scots, who had won three of their last four games going in, drop to 8-10 on the season and 6-9 in MIAC play. Bethel is now 11-7 overall, 9-6 in the MIAC.
Two Scots reached double figures in scoring.
Holly Schiedermayer (Sr., Waupaca, Wis.) went 7-for-9 from the field and paced Macalester with 16 points.
Jessica Rene (Sr., Eau Claire, Wis. / Memorial) finished with 11 points and six rebounds.
Kyanna Jones (Jr., Brooklyn Park, Minn. / Osseo) had a solid all-around game, contributing nine points, six rebounds and five assists.
Bethel was led by Taylor Sheley with 26 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, three blocks and three steals.
