Macalester is making its first appearance in the MIAC women's basketball playoffs and as the No. 4 seed in the six-team field, will host No. 5 St. Thomas on Monday (Feb. 22) at the Leonard Center at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $7 for adults and $3 for students. Fans unable to attend can watch and listen live to

Game notes and team stats
The Scots won their final five regular-season games to secure fourth place in the final conference standings and went 16-6 in league play to post the program's best-ever MIAC finish. St. Thomas went 15-7 in the MIAC to place fifth.
These two Summit Ave. rivals split their two games this winter. The Scots won 60-41 in January at the Leonard Center, getting 21 points from
Trina PaStarr and holding UST to a 25% shooting figure. The Tommies won 76-75 in overtime in February at Concordia-St. Paul University, blocking 12 shots and shooting 55%.
Monday's other MIAC quarter-final contest will be #6 St. Catherine at #3 Concordia. After Monday's games, the lowest remaining seed to play Wednesday (Feb. 24) at #1 St. Benedict and the highest remaining seed will play Wednesday at #2 Gustavus. The two semi-final winners will hook up for the conference playoff title game Saturday (Feb. 27), with a berth in the NCAA Division III playoffs on the line.
