Carleton rolls past cold-shooting Scots in Northfield

Carleton led 17-13 with eight minutes to go in the opening half before going on a 17-2 run to open up a 19-point advantage, and went on to cruise to a 76-34 win over the Scots in Northfield. The Knights shot 54% and enjoyed a dominant 30-12 turnover advantage to improve to 7-6 overall and 3-5 in the MIAC.

The Scots shot 32% from the floor and had no player with more than six points.

Carleton received 16 points and five assists from Jeremy Sutherland. Tom Sawatzke added 15 points and Blaise Davis nailed three treys and finished with 11 points and five assists.

Mac (2-12 / 0-9 MIAC) will try to put this game behind it as the team prepares to host St. Olaf on Saturday (Jan. 16) at the Leonard Center at 3 p.m.
