Jordan Matheson (Sr., Vancouver, B.C. / The Nichols School – N.Y.) closed out her tremendous collegiate career by placing fourth at the NCAA Division III women’s golf championships May 13-16 at PGA Village in Port St. Lucie, Fla. After posting rounds of 79 and 82 during Wednesday’s and Thursday’s rounds on the difficult Wanamaker Course to stand in 20th place midway through the tournament, Matheson played one of her best rounds ever Friday, walking off the course with a tourney-best 73 to move up to seventh. On Saturday, she stepped up another three places to produce Macalester’s best-ever national golf finish – shooting a 79 to close out with a 72-hole mark of 313.
