Tara McCoy (So., Menomonie, Wis.) led the way for the Macalester women’s track & field team at the MIAC championships last weekend by placing fifth in the 800-meter run. McCoy reached the finals by turning in a 2:22.77 time in Friday’s preliminary round heat and in Saturday’s finals crossed the finish line in 2:20.20.
