All-conference defender Liz Hormann (Sr., Salem, Ore. / South Salem) helped lead Macalester to a pair of low-scoring MIAC ties Wednesday (Oct. 22) with St. Catherine and Saturday (Oct. 25) with Gustavus Adolphus. Hormann and the Scots battled to a 0-0 deadlock with St. Kate’s for the team’s eighth shutout of season. In the 1-1 tie with Gustavus, Hormann scored Macalester’s goal to put the Scots up 1-0.
