Devin English (So., Annapolis, Md. / DeMatha) pounded out hits in eight straight at-bats, including two home runs and three doubles, in Macalester baseball games Tuesday (April 15) with Concordia and Sunday (April 20) with Gustavus. He was also walked once to give him nine straight plate appearances on base. English was 9-for-17 from the plate for a .529 batting average and 1.059 slugging percentage as the Scots split MIAC twinbills with the Cobbers and Gusties. English leads Macalester in batting (.394), slugging (.585), RBI (24) and runs scored (30) from his leadoff spot in the order.
