Sarah Beth Hobby came in eighth place in the heptathlon last weekend at the MIAC Multi-Event Championships. Hobby scored a team point heading into the championships next weekend. Hobby won the javelin throw with a personal best mark of 34.63 meters (113' 7"), which is the eighth best throw in Macalester history. She also registered personal bests in the shot put and 200-meter dash.
