Trina PaStarr (So., Minneapolis, Minn. / Southwest) matched her career-high with 27 points Saturday (Jan. 26) to lead Macalester to an 87-76 MIAC win at St. Catherine. PaStarr, the team leader on the season in scoring and rebounding, finished with 27 points, seven rebounds, four blocked shots and a couple steals against the Wildcats as the Scots posted their highest scoring total in seven seasons. She went 9-for-14 from the floor and 8-for-11 from the free throw stripe. Earlier in the week, in a defeat to Gustavus, PaStarr contributed 18 points and nine rebounds. She currently ranks sixth in the MIAC in scoring, seventh in rebounding and fourth in blocked shots.
