Macalester College Athletics

Kimber Meyer (Fy.,  Naperville, Ill. / North) added a second All-America certificate to her young Macalester running career when she placed fifth Saturday in the 3000-meter run at the NCAA Division III Championships at the University of Nebraska.  An All-America last fall in cross country after finishing 22nd at at nationals, Meyer has continued to make fast progress during this winter's indoor campaign.  She is Macalester's first women's track & field All-America since Callie PaStarr placed seventh at outdoor nationals in 2007.
