Forward Kareem Ismail (Fy., Pasadena, Calif. / Flintridge Prep) posted a double-double to lead Macalester to a 79-76 win over Concordia-Moorhead at the Leonard Center in the MIAC season-opener as the Scots got the league campaign off to a winning start. Ismail went 10-for-18 from the field and 7-for-10 from the free throw stripe to lead all scorers with 27 points. He also pulled down 12 rebounds for his double-double, while also adding three assists.
