Laura Avena (Sr., Cesis, Latvia / Riga State Gymnasium No. 1) was named to the all-tournament team after leading the volleyball team to a 2-2 record at the St. Olaf / Carleton Invitational in Northfield.  Avena, who led the Scots with 35 kills and 10 serving aces in the four matches while ranking second on the team with 33 digs, hammered 12 kills in Mac’s win over Bethany Lutheran and eight in the team’s victory over Crown.  She served six aces against BLC.
