Katie Banowetz (Fy., Corvallis, Ore. / Crescent Valley) is the Macalester Athlete of the Week after a strong performance at the Wisconsin-La Crosse NCAA Qualifier Meet. A week after finishing sixth at the MIAC Championships, Banowetz placed placed seventh in the javelin throw with a top mark of 32.98 meters (108-2).
