Macalester College Athletics

Goalkeeper Anya Phillips (So., Geneva, Fla. / Oviedo) led Macalester’s water polo team to a 2-1 record and victory in the fifth-place match at the Collegiate Water Polo Association Division III championships in New London, Connecticut.  Phillips recorded nine saves in a first-round loss to Carthage, seven in an easy 13-4 triumph over Penn State-Behrend, and nine in a narrow 8-6 decision over Utica.
