Macalester College Athletics

Sarah Shoemaker (So., Saratoga, Calif. / St. Francis) paced the women’s water polo team with 16 goals to lead Macalester to a 3-3 record at the CWPA tournament last weekend in Erie, Pennsylvania, helping the Scots defeat Utica, Penn State-Behrend and Carthage.  Earlier during Spring Break week, Shoemaker ranked second on the team with 14 goals in eight matches in Southern California as the Scots took on six Division III powers and a couple Division I teams.
