Women’s basketball senior guard Kyanna Jones (Brooklyn Park, Minn. / Osseo) just missed out on a triple-double Saturday on Senior Day, finishing with 17 points, eight assists and eight rebounds in a close defeat to Carleton. She gave the Scots some momentum going into the second half after banking in a half-court shot on the first half buzzer (her second half-court basket on the season). In three Macalester games last week, Jones averaged 15.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.3 steals.
