Macalester College Athletics

Rachel Gunsalus (Sr., Los Gatos, Calif. / St. Francis) is the Macalester Athlete of the Week for the second time this fall after pacing the women’s cross country team Saturday (Oct. 27) at the MIAC Championships at Como Park Golf Course in St. Paul.  One of the most-improved runners in the conference, Gunsalus finished in 17th place out of 282 entrants, just missing All-MIAC status by two positions.  Gunsalus finished the 6-kilometer race in 23:16.4.
