Macalester College Athletics

Georgia Cloepfil (Jr., Portland, Ore. / Lincoln) was denied by the St. Catherine goalkeeper on her first four shots on net, but finally in the 13th minute of overtime tallied the game-winner off her own deflected shot to give Macalester a 1-0 win over visiting St. Catherine as the Scots moved to 4-4-1 in the MIAC to remain in the league playoff chase.  The All-MIAC forward has 11 goals and seven assists on the season.  Cloepfil has picked up either a goal or assist in 11 of Macalester’s 15 games.
