Forward Anthony Calderon (Sr., St. Paul, Minn. / Cretin-Derham Hall) helped Macalester snap out of a four-match scoreless slump and get into the win column after a 0-6-1 start to the season as the Scots beat Hamline 3-2 in double overtime Saturday (Sept. 22). Calderon broke a 1-1 tie when his header beat the Piper keeper in the 68th minute. After Hamline sent the match into overtime with just 2:01 remaining, Calderon’s goal midway through the second OT period gave the Scots the win.
