Senior quarterback and three-year starter Clark Bledsoe (Jacksonville, Fla. / Episcopal) completed all but one of his aerial attempts to lead Macalester to a 53-6 victory over Crown in the season football opener. Bledsoe was a near-perfect 17-for-18 passing (94%) for 228 yards and a 55-yard TD, and running for another score, before leaving the game midway through the third quarter. Bledsoe is fourth in the NCAA Division III in passing efficiency (219.2).
