Also the MIAC women’s basketball Player of the Week, Holly Schiedermayer (Sr., Waupaca, Wis.) went a near-perfect 13-for-14 from the floor to lead Macalester to wins over Augsburg and Gustavus.  Schiedermayer scored 21 points and grabbed nine rebounds in a 56-49 win at Augsburg, and contributed 16 points and 11 boards in a 65-56 upset over second-place Gustavus.  She is ranked fifth in the conference in scoring (14.9), second in rebounding (7.9) and third in shooting accuracy (.515).
