Clare Pillsbury (Sr., Baraboo, Wis.) is the Macalester Athlete of the Week after leading the Scots to a pair of strong performances last weekend. In Friday’s 140-80 MIAC dual meet win over St. Mary’s, the Macalester season picked up a couple first-place finishes, winning the 100-yard butterfly (1:06.62) and 100-yard backstroke (1:08.26). Pillsbury then won the 400-yard individual medley (4:59.84) the following day when the Scots hosted the Roger Ahlman Invitational.
