Macalester College Athletics

Safety Jole Miller (Fy., Missouri Valley, Ia.) is the Macalester athlete of the week after intercepting three passes – one short of a school record – in the season-ending 42-7 win over Trinity Bible (N.D.).   Miller picked off his first pass early in the second quarter and later in the period returned his second interception 37 yards for a touchdown and a 28-0 lead.  His third INT set up Macalester’s fifth touchdown.  He also made four tackles and batted down a fourth-down pass which could have been another interception.
