Joe Giamberdino (Fy., St. Charles, Ill. / St. Francis Prep) ran to all-conference status by placing 13th at the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships at Como Park in St. Paul. Giamberdino becomes Macalester first frosh to earn an All-MIAC finish since Jon Greenberg in 1992 and he was second-fastest among all first-years in the race. He completed the 8-kilometer course in 26:04, the 19th best MIAC time in team history.
