Carson Gorecki (Jr., Mahtomedi, Minn.) helped keep Macalester's MIAC playoff chances alive when he scored his team's only goal in the 74 th minute as the Scots battled back from a deficit to gain a 1-1 tie with St. Thomas on Wednesday (Oct. 17). Had Mac lost that game, the team would be all but eliminated from post-season consideration. Gorecki now has a team-leading eight goals on the season and with his next score will become the 10 th player in the history of the program to net 20 career goals.
