Goalkeeper Matt Weyer (Sr., Cedarburg, Wis.) kept a pair of MIAC opponents from reaching the net, posting road shutouts over Bethel and Concordia as Macalester improves to 4-2 in the conference standings.  Weyer turned away four Bethel shots on goal in Mac’s 5-0 win over the Royals in Arden Hills.  He registered five saves over the weekend in Moorhead to lead the Scots past the Cobbers 2-0.  Weyer owns a 1.08 goals against average on the season and has three shutouts in six MIAC starts.  His GAA in conference play is 0.76.
