Center fielder Cleo Nagy (Fy. , Eugene, Ore. / Henry D. Sheldon) batted .333 (4-for-12) with a .583 slugging percentage and helped Macalester pick up its first Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference win of the campaign. Nagy belted her third home run of the season in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Scots forced extra innings in the first game of a doubleheader Saturday (April 23) with Concordia. In game two against the Cobbers, Nagy was 2-for-2 with a run scored and an RBI as the Scots beat the Cobbers 4-0. Nagy leads Macalester in batting (.356), RBI (18) and runs (15).
