Macalester’s Athlete of the Week is the women’s track & field 4x400-meter relay team, which set a school record with a 3:59.44 mark at the Hamline University Invitational on Saturday (April 2). Combining to place second overall and shatter the 1998 school mark of 4:01.34 were were Daiga Kravale (Fy., Latvia / UWC of the Adriatic), Robin Major (Sr., Putney, Vt. / Bellow Falls Union), Marta LeFevre-Levy (Fy., Wayland, Mass.) and Tara McCoy (Sr., Menomonie Falls, Wis.). The Scots were 1.3 seconds behind St. Benedict for first place.
