Senior Eric Robinson (San Francisco, Calif. / The Urban School) led a solid Macalester pitching performance over Spring Break as the Scots went 5-5 in Arizona. In a pair of starting assignments, Robinson was 2-0 with a 1.29 ERA in 14 innings or work, striking out 11 and walking just one. Robinson beat William Paterson (N.J.) 7-6 on March 12 and five days later, fanned nine batters while not walking anyone in a 16-3 over Wesleyan. He gave up 13 hits in 14 innings in his two starts on the week.
