Jacob McDonnell (So., Duluth, Minn. / Marshall) finished with a school-record six touchdowns on 364 yards from scrimmage to help Macalester establish school records with 628 total yards and 35 first downs in a 62-42 win over Crown. Macalester trailed 28-13 before McDonnell took over, scoring five straight touchdowns to give the Scots a 48-28 lead. Returning after a four-game hiatus due to injury, McDonnell picked up right where he left off early in the season. He ran the ball 29 times for 257 yards and four touchdowns and added seven catches for 107 yards and two TDs.
